Welcome to the Volusia Literacy Council!

The Volusia Literacy Council is a 33-year-old United Way partner agency offering free one-on-one and small-group tutoring for adults who perform literacy in reading, math, language and English as a Second Language below the 9th grade level. We help adult students apply for jobs, earn job promotions, read to their children or grandchildren, obtain citizenship, and ensure student success according to their personal goals.

We give thanks to our team of dedicated volunteer tutors and the support of generous people in our communities that allow our services to be provided free of charge to those in need. If you are interested in volunteering, being tutored, or donating please call (386) 255-8723.
